Excel features calculation, graphing tools, pivot tables, and a macro programming language called Visual Basic for Applications. It has become widely applied spreadsheet application since 1993.

This package allows you to retrieve KPI data from an Excel spreadsheet.

We'll be adding more KPIs for this package in the future. Until then, if you have any specific requests, please contact us.

This is a local PC package.
To use it, you need to have a Bizeo Drone installed on your Windows PC or network.

Activating your Microsoft Excel package

  1. Install the package on your drone.
If you have more than one drone, you'll need to decide which to assign the Microsoft Excel package to (if you haven't already done so). If you have only one drone, you can skip this step.
  2. Open your 'Bizeo Settings' application. To do this, either right-click the Bizeo indicator icon on your Windows toolbar (which may be inside the collapsed group under the small arrow near your clock) or launch it from your Windows Start Menu.
  3. Click on the Installed Packages tab. You should see your Microsoft Excel package here. Click on the 'Add new data source' button.
  4. Set up a data source to connect to your Excel Spreadsheet.
Note: You'll need to add a new data source for each Excel file you want Bizeo to collect data from.
    1. Create a name for your data source.
    2. Enter the username and password that you use to log into Windows on your computer.
    3. Select your Excel spreadsheet.
    4. Click the 'Test Connection' button to ensure Bizeo can access the file. If your connection test is successful, click the 'Ok' button to save your data source. If the connection test fails, check your credentials.
  5. After saving your data source, you're ready to set up a task in your Bizeo account.

Using your Microsoft Excel package

When adding a new task in Bizeo:

  1. Select the Drone on which you've installed the package and configured the data source.
  2. Select the data source you have just set up.
  3. Select a KPI and set the parameters, and save your task. Bizeo will be displaying your data in no time!
  4. Repeat for each KPI you want to monitor.
